Good Morning! I worked in the yard most of the day yesterday, and got a sweat up at 50+ degree. This morning I can't get enough clothes on to stay warm outside. Chill is supposed to be below 0 tonight. Typical Oklahoma weather. Everybody try to stay warm.

Good morning. Coffee, French toast and a side of bacon Molly. Brrrrrrrrr! Somebody left the freezer door open this morning. It's 7 degrees with a wind chill of -11. Mercy!! Last week I worked on computers and upgraded one of them to Windows 7 from Vista. A couple of days ago it all went dark and wouldn't turn on. I went to Best Buy yesterday and bought a new power supply. I also pulled out a DIMM so I could see what type it was and add more memory. Best Buy didn't carry it any more, so I ordered 2 Gb online from Newegg. The guy at the store assured me that the power supply would work. When I put it in, I couldn't find a 4-prong plug that connects to the motherboard in the midst of all the wiring bundles that come out of the power supply. I ate supper and decided I would take it out and back to the store. After it was out of the computer, lo and behold, there the little rascal was. I put it back in the computer, fired it up and all it would do is beep. That took some head scratching, but finally I reseated the DIMM I had removed and Voila! It worked! It's only been about 4 years since I made my living do this kind of work. It's amazing what you can forget in a short amount of time.

Have a shot of elixir, rman. You deserve it after all of that computer work!

Morning gang. Cold this morning. Aint going to do anything, just stay in doors.

I did get the shotgun cleaned and put back in the safe. Now for that SKS.

If my computer ever quits, I'm sending it to rman. He can fix any thing.

Stay warm today.

Life is good.

They changed everything in 4 years. Even the one you bought over 4 years ago.

I regularly pulled the boxes apart and exchanged parts up until about 5 years ago. I came across two Compaq's (total) for about the same price as my last single upgrade. I haven't even opened the case to look inside. Mine has started getting really slow and freezing up if I leave Firefox open too long without doing anything. It may be time to clean off the HD and start over or to get a new solid state drive. Or something.
