I didn't know your Ranger was a stepside, I like the look better than the fleetsides. I had an 84 Chevy stepside, my favorite PU, bought it in 88 from Amtrack auction. All the service records, only 28,000 miles for $2250. It was bright orange, I matt blacked the mirrors, bumpers & wheels. Baby moons & deep dish chrome trim rims it was a cool looker! Kept it until 2002, oil & tires, no repairs.

I'm like you - I like the looks better too. It cuts down on cargo room, but I didn't buy it for hauling anyway. It will easily handle a washer and drier. I have a 6 x 10 trailer for anything larger.
