That's good Teddybear, you had us worried last Monday. I seen you posting on Facebook and figured you were OK. Glad things are much better this week!

Good evening. The lasagna was mighty good. Haven't tried the cherry poke cake yet - ate too much lasagna. We are supposed to have heavy rains and hail starting at midnight and running through noon tomorrow. We rearranged things and got both cars in the garage. One mower is under the deck. Unfortunately one has to sit out.

I'm glad things are going better for you this week Teddybear. Don't be a stranger my friend.

Be careful, stay safe and keep smilin'!

Wink

We get some bad hail here. I liked it better when we kept the car in the garage, here it doesn't quite fit under the carport. Most damage occurs if you are caught driving in it at highway speeds. I hope you put your's under the deck, after all it is the newest! I'm tired and Bubba is probably waiting for me, see y'all in the morning! Goodnight and God bless, sleep well!

Good morning. Molly just got here and got me a cup of coffee. I'll have some eggs and bacon in just a few minutes. That's a good way to start the day.
It's hot and humid here this morning. It's going to be a sticky one. We get a whole new central a/c unit in today. It's a little pricey but we needed it.
Teddybear, we're glad you're ok. I guess we all have those days when nothing goes right.
I had to go pick up a prescription I had refilled yesterday. The pharmacy people wear masks, now all of us in store have to as well. Plus, there's the plastic shield they have up. We were almost shouting at each other to be heard properly. I forgot at first and mumbled my name, that set the whole thing off. It was kind of funny, but only afterwards.
I hope you all have a great day today. Molly made a really good cup of coffee today. I recommend it to you all.

Good morning gang! Molly, I'll have a cup of coffee and some eggs and bacon, like panther said, that's a good way to start the day! We're hot and humid too, already 88 with a feels like 108. I guess we're going to have to get used to the plastic shield they'll all have up and shouting at each other to be heard. It's crazy, I wonder if we'll ever know if it was a devious evil election plot or a natural disaster. I just hope they get a handle on it ASAP! Tonight is the All Star Race, this year it'll be at a short track for the first time, Bristol! It'll be a 2 short race event, first qualifying then the big million dollar purse to the winner race. It should be one of the best races ever! 7 to 10:30 PM, Fox Sports 1. OK, gotta check my sugar to see if I can have hash browns and V-8 with my bacon and eggs, Molly I'll have hash browns and a V-8 too please and thank you! OK, gotta set up a Netflix movie for breakfast, see y'all later!

Good morning. Looks like about everyone got here before me this morning. That's OK though. It was a good morning to sleep in - cloudy, dark, with light rain. I'm not sure what happened to the heavy rain, large hail and high winds. So far we have .2" of rain. I should have left my car out to get the dust washed off. My new motto, "Never believe the local weather dummy". Poor little rdog is not going to be thrilled about going out this morning. He's decided he doesn't like the rain and despises getting his paws wet. He's getting to be a real wimp.

The government is working on another round of stimulus checks. The Elephants want to limit the checks to folks with less than $40K yearly income and the Jackasses want to use the same income limits as the first round. I figure that settling that argument will probably last longer than the Hong Kong Fooey Virus.

I'll take another stimulus check if they're giving one but the income limits put on the first one was insane. Now the Socialist side of our lawmakers want to do it again Aren't we supposed to learn by our mistakes confused again?

Good morning.

The Elvis translation is "my noble profile is much better than the computer screen, I can type as well as you and it is more fun giving me treats."

The wealthy Commonwealth of Virginia finally got around to cashing my tax payment. Only 6 weeks.

Today's excitement was the Space Force launch from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Space Port, aka Wallops Island, VA. The drama was a launch delay to clear boats out of the launch path. The fishing must have been good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUUc6rYpm4U

It's good to see TB back even though it doesn't sound like he is ready to go dancing.

I spent a while dozing through some "really smart" and wealthy enough folks talk about closing schools, opening schools and doing it online. Panther's WalMart ladies are closer to the real situation. I live in a moderately well-off county. It has been computerizing students for over 20 years (remember the riot over buying used apple/Mac laptops years ago? That was my county). When schools shut down this spring the county bought and issued 5,000 chromebooks for elementary students who didn't have access to a laptop and made sure there were enough hotspots so all could sign on. That can't be done in a lot of places. Now, all we have to do is get on-line education going and someone at home to sit on the kids while they stare at a computer screen that isn't a game for hours a day. Oh, and have a job that feeds those aspiring young scholars. Our 6-figure school administrators might have to earn their pay figuring how to do this out.

Pam found bone-in chicken breasts at the same price per pound as whole chicken, so today's project is slaving over a grill for a while. Wish she had bought more.

Y'all have a great day.

I didn't need the first one, but a lot of working single, now unemployed, mothers could have used hers and mine. Someone is going to have to pay for all these giveaways. Hmmm...wonder who that might be?

Thanks for the Elvis translation greener. My keen, trap-like mind should have figured that one out.
