For all you 44mag guys, keep a look out for Ruger's Bisley Blackhawk in 44mag. I had one years ago and really thought the Bisley frame made the gun feel more like a 357. I only shot factory ammo in it, but I'm sure it will have the same feel with stout loads. Ruger used to make a whole line of Bisleys, from 44mag to 22lr. I rarely see any for sale around here anymore, but they're worth looking for.
BTW, I'm not going to Glacier N.P. until that bear is a rug on someone's floor.
