Default Bear Hunting!

4 Bears was checked in today in Eastern Oklahoma. State will let them be killed until 20 is checked in and then they will stop it. I suspect they will all be killed during Bow season which opened today. I wouldn't mind hunting one with a Muzzle Loader, but I'm not a Bow Hunter. One was killed not far from my Ranch.

Had 10 by Sun. afternoon. Bow Season goes through the 19th so I'm sure the quota will be reached before then. 5 of the 10 were killed in LeFlore County where I live.

What kind of bears are down there Calvin? I've seen a couple of small brown ones East of Ark City along the Walnut river. But I think it's a rare thing.

We have the small Black Bears. Grown ones usually weight between 4-500lb.
