Beer can burgers, a recipe made for a hungry man!
Had re=runs last night but hit the jackpot tonight and Wifey grilled up beer can burgers, of my God they were better than good! She really knows how to make a man happy!

Rman, you're hooked on those BLT's. Can't blame you, nothing beats a fresh picked vine ripened tomato. We sometimes just slice about a 3/4" slice of a beefsteak and some (fake) salt, a little mayo on toast and have a feast! We're lucky here to get fresh picked tomatoes here almost 10 months a year and when it gets too cold here they truck them up from Homestead and Florida City where they grow year round. It's about 300 miles south of here where they can grow good crops 12 months a year. They may be better with bacon and lettuce but I don't know anybody that would turn down a big thick slice of fresh beefsteak on toast! Enjoy them while you got them!

Great local pizza shop pie...
Pizza, MaMa took the day off and we ordered a pie. A local pizza shop advertised a stretched super thin crust, low sugar, low salt tomato gravy and cheese, fresh thin sliced tomatoes, basil, oregano and garlic. Baked and drizzled with Greek olive oil when done. Also came with dippin' gravy. Well, don't tell MaMa but this pizza was really good and my sugar was only 110 this morning, more is in the future.
