Schrade I-XL Presentation knife
I found this at a pawn shop a few weeks ago and it was only $25 so I had to pick it up.
It's a Schrade I-XL folder, in a brown presentation box. The knife was made by Geo. Wostenholm & Son, in Sheffield, England. It comes with a certificate of ownership made out to Donald Livingston(no idea who he is) on 10/27/1981.The knife seems to have a bone handle and the bolsters seem to be stamped with proof marks, like you'd see on sterling silver. The knife has obviously never been used, it's like new. It's also numbered on the certificate and on the bolsters, like a limited edition. I've Googled this, but haven't found anything quite like the one I have. Any Schrade collectors that might have a clue where to look for more info and values? I don't have a good camera, but if I can come up with something, I'll try to post pics. Thanks.

I wish I could help Panther. Could you contact Schrade for info on this?

I have a bunch of Shrade knives, but nothing like that. You might have hit a jackpot. Glad you found it.

I looked at the IXL link and found the model M-40, which is the exact knife I have. Everytime I clicked on the link I got a security notice from microsoft about a potential threat detected, so I'm gonna stay off there for awhile. I have the M-40, in the brown presentation box, with letter and a leather belt holder for it.
Thanks for finding that link. Did anyone else get any warnings on that site? edit; look at the box for the del2, that's the box I have, numbered for my knife.
