C Sharps 100 yard Gong
This morning I headed out to our club range in Bigfork, MT this gong is set up at only 100 yards, as it was painted white. You might be able to see it way on out there. The C Sharps 45-70 is loaded with 1881 500gr Gov Round Nose bullet over 68-gr of FFg black powder with a card wad. A couple of our members were there, and I asked them if they'd like to shoot my 'Ol Reliable' C Sharps... and they were like... my shoulder will not like it. But I shot 15 cartridges with 15 hits using the vernier tang sight hitting the gong with authority and that sound was awesome.... next time out, I'll shoot at the gong target at the new 300 yard range.

That's some fine shooting JB! Good thing there weren't any buffalo close by!
