How about NOT Recommending?
We have two Husqvarna mowers. One is a rider and the other a self propelled walk behind. They are two of the hardest starting four cycles we've ever owned. Granted my wife and I are both in our 70's and not as strong and agile as some years ago, but these are ridiculous. Our fifty year old daughter can't start the walk behind, and her husband only does it working up a sweat.
The walk behind goes in 2-3 times a year to the dealer and the rider goes in once and they come to the house to work on it another time or two. It costs me $50 pickup and delivery for the rider. Perhaps we're just inept or unlucky but I'd advise folks to investigate other mowers. Maybe some brand with a compression release mechanism would be a better choice.

Caneman I have a Craftsman Garden Tractor that I absolutely hate. It's made my Husqvana by the way. It was warranteed for 1 year. 13 months after buying it the hydrastatic transmission went out. It cost me over $800 for a replacement and I put it in myself. The deck is a terrible chore to remove and even worse to level.

Great idea Caneman! I always thought Husqvarna had good products and didn't know Craftsman were made by them. I'll certainly remember that when buying lawn and garden equiptment.
