Watching the Hive entrance!
It's enjoyable to set and watch the activity going on at the entrance to your Hive. But that's not all. You can tell a lot about what's going on inside the hive, by watching the entrance. My bees were getting rid of the mites, and extra freeloaders, by carrying out Drone Larva.

That's a great picture Calvin! I'll bet it is interesting, but with my luck they would probably all decide to sting me.

Hi Calvin,
Just saw the category and had to check it out. My wife and i went through a training class to be certfied bee keepers this year, but so far its been all brain and no brawn. Really hope to get some hives this early spring. Joined the local bee club, love the meetings especially when someone brings in some honey to sample. Hope to get back here soon to read all you have on the subject. |
