Default Range time

I got to the range yesterday, just to make sure I still remembered how to shoot. The lack of cheaper practice ammo has kept me from shooting. It seems the only pistol ammo you can find sometimes is the personal defense stuff that is $1 a round. Academy finally came up with lots of their Monarch brand steel cased ammo. I got 9mm for $10.99 for a 50rd box.
My Italian guns love it. They shoot it straight and reliably. My S&W, not so much. It was accurate, but I had a couple feeding problems, and a few times the empties ejected straight up and landed on my head.
Still, any day at the range is a good day. I just wish I could find Win. White box, or the Remington green and white box stuff again.

That's great that you got to do some shooting panther. I have never used any steel cased pistol ammo, only about 100 or so rounds of Wolf .223 in a AR15

I bought a 1000 rounds of the Wolf 9mm years ago. Shot well through my M&P. I haven't seen anything that that pistol won't feed and fire, even my reloads.

My S&W's with about 4000 rounds between them never had a malf of any kind. None of the 3 Glocks have missed a beat except Franne's G26 once when my sick buddy had it fly out of his hand. I would have to blame that on limp wristing. The range time wasn't good for me, I watched him like a hawk, afraid he would hurt himself. He only fired 1 from my .45 and about 15 9mm's. I finished off the mags from both and fired 6 from his Python.

There's just no medicine like a day at the range. Glad you got a chance to get out panther.
