I drive a Jeep wrangler, third one in a row. This time I opted for the longer wheel base 4 door version. The extra room is nice, but it's not the same feel as the original wheelbase. 6 speed transmission, so it's better on the highway, but they have replaced the straight six with a new v-6. I miss the torque, and the classic jeep "tick". But it's better suited to a wife, two kids and a big furry, kinda slow best friend German Shepherd. Next project is to fit it up with a trailer hitch to help with the wood gathering efforts.

Thumbs up My Car

A 2000 Dodge Neon, High miles and high mpg. Low upkeep cost so far!

I emailed Dodge and asked if they would start making them again considering the economy and fuel prices, they said they are not ruling anything out right now.

Looking to buy a pickup truck before winter, I'm not too concerned about gas mileage, I only live 4 miles from my work place. If I wasn't so fat and lazy I would ride a bicycle

I am a jeep lover...always have been always will be til i die. I would trade all three for a red jeep wrangler with a lift and big tires
UHHHH... the thoughts of off roding through the woods, mud holes, camping (sorry my minds a drift again)

You can tell what I drive by my name and avatar and no suprise, the ZO6 is a blast to drive! What is suprising is the gas mileage. On the road it gets 30 and around town 15 with me driving it like I stole it! I just went to Sunrise Fl. to pick my Mom up for a visit and got 28.6, 385 miles some local and mostly highway. My wife has a a a a a a a a, I hate to say it, a a a a Honda, and it gets worse, an Element. If Croc's came in a box it would look like an Element! It drives like a cement mixer on the highway, the brakes must be what they use on a Civic because it stops like a cement mixer too. The gas mileage sucks too, 17 city and 20 highway. I complained to the dealer and he said because it is all wheel drive the mileage isn't good. I does tote the 2 dogs, grocery's and occaisional Home Depot stuff good and she does let me get Corvettes.

Guess I need to add that I got a new bright red '08 Ford F150, basic truck with auto and air. There are some great deals out there right now. Drives great mileage is better than I expected, love driving it. The ol' Neon is finally getting a rest.

Congratulations on the New Truck. Now its Mr. Dave instead of Dr. Dave. Hope it gives you lots of good service.
