Default The one that didn't get away

All you have to do is drive 20 miles out on the lake and cut a hole in the water.

There isn't any ice on my lake, so I guess I'm out of luck - nice trout though.

Talking Prime Bass fishing time...

Bass are on the beds here now. It takes a lot of work because you need to catch the little male and stash him in the live well before you can catch the monster female. She'll pick up your plastic, well presented bait by the tail and get it out of the bed to spit it out. Tough fishing when you can see the monster bass but can no way catch it! Wild shiners work like miracles but no sport and much less challange. I myself only fish with fake baits. Kinda like baiting deer compared to really hunting a deer. (Or putting a 12 oz. poterhouse on a plate with a hook in it for me! I should be out there fishing but physically I'm just not able at this point. It is now, the best time to catch that elusive 10 pounder. However, Kansas, beers are still 12 ounces, cold, plentiful and no bag limit!

Put some ice on them, box 'em up and ship 'em to my place Nes. We like them a lot too!
