Range report from 1 August 2019
I went to the range last Thursday and shot these 3 1911's.
The one on the left is the Colt Lightweight Officer. This is the first time I have shot it since I replaced the recoil spring as well as the hammer spring. It was softer shooting than the first time I shot it with the old springs. It really shoots good now. The middle one is the good ole Colt Gold Cup. This thing has always been a "if I can see it I can hit it" pistol. I would say it is my favorite 1911. The one on right is a Colt Combat Commander. I'm still getting used to it, but it shoots well. |
