Default Books

When I was a young pup I faithfully read every issue of Shooting Times magazine so I could catch Skeeter Skelton's monthly story. Several years ago my wife bought be a copy of his book, "Good Friends, Good Guns and Good Whiskey". It is a compilation of Skeeter's tales from the magazine. I dug it out today and started to read it again. This guy knew how to tell a yarn. I went out on line and found his other book, "Hog Legs, Hip Shots and Jalapenos". I ordered one from EBay. These books are great, rare and expensive, but worth the money. I look forward to getting my hands on it. If you can find a copy of either book in the library, I highly recommend reading it.

Skeeter is the one who really got me interested in handguns.
