Sounds like you're going to have quite a crop this year Calvin.

Lots of Beans, Peas, Taters, and Corn. People used to live on it, and I still could if I have to.

If things don't improve, you may have to. Our government just keeps handing out "free" money. Seems like at some point they won't be able to print it fast enough to keep up.

Things are not going to improve until enough people get fed up and take action. Action speaks louder than words. The next election will be an opportunity to take action. Judge the Politicians by their previous actions, instead of their promises. By now, we ought to know what their promises are. Here's a good place to start. http://www.nrcc.org/codered/flipflop...FQQhDQod80z7wA

I've got lots of stuff up and growing, but the Moles have found it. I'm battling them now. I guess they can smell the stuff, because they will go straight down a row and wipe it out. I put poison grain in the runs hoping it will get them.

Try sitting very quietly in the garden after dark. Use a night crawler or grub call every 5 minutes or so. Right after using the call, sweep a bright flashlight across the garden. If you see a mole pop up, blast him with your .45 Colt. This seems to work every time.

We don't have many grubs around here so I never did invest in a grub call, but I do have a really good "Acme Electronic Earth Worm Call" that I bought several years ago. It still works very well. I have finished off the moles in my garden, so if you need to borrow it Calvin, Just let me know & I'll send it to you. Happy hunting! P.S. There is a Restaurant over in Ada that serves a mean barbecue mole dinner.
