Default No more Colts.

I don't have a link but I saw a news flash that said Colt is not going to be making anymore AR's for the civilian market. I don't think it will have any impact on sales, most the shops I go to don't even carry Colts.
But it's another headline that the anti's will use to push for even more gun control.

Colt is the one shooting themselves in the foot.

The company's president and chief executive, Dennis Veilleux, said that the consumer market has "experienced significant excess manufacturing capacity," and that Colt believes there are enough rifles on the market for the foreseeable future.

high-volume contracts are absorbing all of Colt?s manufacturing capacity for rifles," Veilleux said in a statement. "We believe it is good sense to follow consumer demand and to adjust as market dynamics change."
In other words, The market is flooded with ARs since everyone makes them theses days! (remember, not long ago, S&W, Ruger, Savage and others didn't produce ARs.)

Not the first time Colt, although making a good product, couldn't compete in the market!

That's why they have been in financial trouble over the years.
