That's tough, "best for reasonable price". I'm going to add ' all metal' which, I think, you guys are doing anyway.
Pistol = Ruger Revolver = Ruger Shotgun = Mossberg only because I prefer the location of the safety. Rifle, serious = Ruger Rifle, deadly serious = AK Rifle, fun = Marlin model 60 |

Ruger is a pretty good choice, especially since they are now in the 1911 market.

ALL GOOD CHOICES BUT, " I '' NEVER HELD A GUN I DIDN"t LIKE. SOME BETTER THAN OTHERS. THE BETTER ONES, I BOUGHT. SOME I HAVE NEVER FIRED. PROBABLY NEVER WILL.
