Here it's $2.80 to $3.09. That 29 cents a gallon. You tell me.
(The worst part is, some dummy must actually be paying the extra .29. I won't drive out of my way to get the cheapest gas, but I would for 29 cents.)

Wifey generally gets the gas because she drives more often than me. She goes to a station that seems to always be the least expensive. If she is shopping the other direction, she goes to the one that seems to always be just a penny or two more. We burn on average 11 gallons a month, a couple pennies a gallon won't break the bank. We still use the cheaper ones.

We won't save enough to get that new Caddy SUV, old geezers like us deserve to be pampered. Caddie Compact SUV's seem to have taken over the Mercury Grand Marquis geezer market here.

I wait for Franne in parking lots & watch geezers parking. I would call it "parking by ear" but they can't hear. Many of the geezers just drive forward until the car stops & the spots are so narrow they always door whack the car next to them. A Mercury Grand Marquis door could inflict more damage than the big Merc is worth! We have a lot of drive thru convenience stores too, thru the store front that is.
