Local Hero
Chester, Va. --
At Thomas Dale High School, football standout Michael Dudley was voted most sociable by this year's graduating class. Yesterday, friends and family added hero to the title. Dudley, 18, is recovering at VCU Medical Center from a gunshot wound to the stomach that may interrupt his college football career. But his intervention in a fatal domestic dispute Wednesday night at a Chester restaurant may have averted a massacre. http://www2.timesdispatch.com/news/2...k25-ar-231103/ |

I'm glad the Kid survived. When people lose their temper, they're dangerous, and when confronted, you have to be ready for the worst.

It's nice to know that there are still young people who think of others and not just theirselves. This young man is truly a hero. I pray for his quick and complete recovery.
