Hurts doesn't it? I got sliced by a little Jennings .22 auto one time and I was holding it right. There just wasn't enough butt to grip without getting bit once in awhile. I also had a Springfield Armory 1911 that bit me about every time I shot it. It wasn't the slide, it was the hammer. (I don't have it any more, or any other 1911 that doesn't have a beavertail grip safety.)

Only 2 kinds of semi auto shooters. Those who have been bitten, and, liars! I got it once and my thumb bled like the dickens. I stayed in my booth sucking my thumb until I could exit without being seen. OUCH!

You know Vetter, I really don't remember being bit by a slide on a semi-auto pistol. Lucky, I guess
BUT..............I did have my thumb inside the reciver of my Winchester Model 1400 12 ga. shotgun one time & hit the button! Lots of blood & quite a bit of cussing.

Luckily, I haven't been bitten by my P90 or P97's. Did fire a 12 gage double barrel that had hammers, both barrels at once, without putting it to my shoulder. Won't do that again.

Default No mo Mexican carry...

I did a dumb move testerday. Went to my second home, Lowe's. I just shoved my weapon into my waist band. Plaxico style in my sweat shorts and in my skivies too. The skivies really seem to keep it in place. Y'all know what happened, it was on the floor at my feet in a split second. I don't think anyone saw it. Does that mean it never happenned?

While repairing some fence yesterday morning, I was stretching some barbed wire & it broke. Ended up slapping me in the face. Luckly I got away with only a short 1 1/2" gash on my right cheek.
Not to worry though, I'm still my old handsom self!

I have swore off Mexican carry. I did it for quicky trips and like I said I stuffed it in my skivies too and it didn't budge. Not sure how or why but it fell out! Won't happen again.

Did you say something out of line while you were working with the barb wire Kansas? Maybe a scar will add some character to all that handsomeness.
