Unique Powder
I finished a old container of Unique.
Loaded 100 Rds of 44 Mag with the new powder I just bought. Is it my imagination or does the new unique burn cleaner? |

I don't know, dowop. I have a couple pounds of Unique. It is probably ten years old. I quit using it for some reason. I doubt if I will buy any more. Guess I will use this old stuff in something one of these days. No sense in letting it go to waste. Can't even remember what I used it for. 9mm maybe.

It's not your imagination dowop. My latest can burns cleaner and runs thru the measure better than some I had from 15 years ago. Alliant claims it was improved to do just that. The burning rate seems to be pretty consistent with the old.

Thanks rman. Guess I am not going bonkers.
I loaded 9gr with 240gr cast swc & the brass does not even look like it needs cleaned. Going to stare at them some more before I tumble them. |
