Default Range Time with the Sharps

Well due to the gravel pit being very dangerous today, we had to use another location up the road, but still US Forestry land.

Getting in some sighting shots with the vernier sight on the Sharps

Adjustment a must since using the 535-gr Postell bullet and 75.0 gr of Alliant Black Mz FFg.

Finally getting something done

A bit more tweaking of the vernier sight

I'm sure glad hitting the steel targets at the BPCR matches isn't based on group size, and only hits

Very nice shooting. That is a beautiful rifle.

It looks to me like most of your shots are in a nice tight group J_B. (And besides, you're supposed to use fresh paint on the metallic silhouettes before you shoot them, so you can see how they group.)

Thanks Rman, I make these bison cardboard cutouts... I've had this layout form for years. I'll be hanging steel to gong on my next trip

Take a youngster with you to help with the steel.
