Default Expensive Spring

I have two ultralight rods, well 3 if you count the 11.5' rod. The two short ones are regular tackle. The bail return on one of the rods gave up the ghost last weekend and I wandered out this morning to see what kind of repair parts or replacements were available. No repair parts available, but they did have this real nice ultralight combo with the rod and reel at the same price as the reel I liked.

The salesman did an outstanding job of lure presentation and a truly superb job of setting the hook. I have three ultralight rods. All three will have reels as soon as I can find a bail return spring.

greener, you can do a search for rod & reel repair shops & I'll bet you can order a new replacement spring from one of the repair shops you'll find.

I finally got to use my ultra lite rig I got at Wally World and really like it. It is a ball bearing real and ugly stick rod. It sure casts and retrieves smooth. Now if I can just keep that fine mono filament line from getting tangle in the weeds.
