Thanks Teddy Bear, I've had the Hogue Mono grip before, felt it was just too long for my hand, as well as conceal carry. I really do like the Hogue Bantam grip, which seems to be just perfect.

Gosh dang it! I wish Spring would get here. I'm anxious to see how that Redhawk shoots J_B. (Teddybear that SBH looks kind of familiar - oh yeah, I have one too.)

Thanks rman, I wish it were Spring as well.... but I am getting all my reloading stuff together for the .44 Spl/44 Magnum and the .38/.357 Magnum. The non-gas checked bullets are sure cheaper.

Well after running the Redhawk through a series of shooting... I have to admit, I don't like the grip angle, with or without the Hogue Bantam grip. So I found a buyer for it, oh well they'll be something else down the line.

Maybe a S&W 629? Actually all those DA revolvers can be a handful will heavy loads. The recoil is mostly straight back into the web of your hand instead of rolling up with recoil like a single action. That's why I like the Super Blackhawk.

I think I'll keep the Redhawk 44 Mag
Look at the size of that enormous paw!! Just in case you were thinking you don't really need bear spray or a large caliber handgun in MT: this bear is being relocated from the Lincoln area to Glacier NP right now.

One I don't care to meet in Glacier National Park.
