Last Muzzleloader Report for a while
Well today was the last good day of tolerable weather for my shoulder... it's all headed into extreme cold from here on out, and with pending surgery on Dec 9th... today was a good day.
I had my wife video with her cell phone, and I captured some stills that will follow after. Video Shooting the Lyman Great Plains Rifle Two different loads today, first was 3 shots from the Hornady Great Plains Bullet 425-gr over 70-gr by volume of Alliant Black Mz. The next 2 shots were Patched Round Ball Hornady pure lead 224-gr The black center circle is 3.5"

Very very nice! Seems like my range trips have slowed to a crawl. Deer Season starts Saturday so that will slow it down even more!
Good luck with the surgery!!

Looks like both loads shoot well J_B. Both the surgery and the cold weather will probably slow down the range trips alright. Good shooting and good report.
