Thumbs down Is this happening all over?

It seems nearly every day adults are arrested for leaving their children in hot closed up cars, many die. It's all over the news, everyday. This one takes the grand prize, "A woman in Florida leaves child in a locked van outside jail while inside visiting an inmate." A correction officer seen the 3 year old, broke a window and rescued her. She was weak and sweating profusly. Mom was held at the jailed and her daughter was checked at the hospital and taken to child services. Mom made bail 10 PM and mom will have her day in court for the child neglect and will find out if she can get the child back. Some family that has to be, Mom visiting an inmate.

There are a LOT of people who just don't deserve children.

Maybe it's the news but there seems to be a number reported each year. Maybe back in the good old days the car windows weren't rolled up.

I think back in the good old days, people had more sense and actually cared about their kids.

How can you just forget about your children? We never had any but we wouldn't leave our dogs in the car in the summer heat. One just recently here in Orlando went into a bar for 2 hours with a child left in the car. She said she had friends check on the child while she got drunk. Someone called the PoPo and they child was OK but drunky Mommy didn't get to drive the child home. No follow up but hopefully she loses her child until she gets cleaned up.
