I ordered a couple of these walking sticks for Sharon and I. I was impressed with the quality of them. They are Hickory that came from the Ozarks. If anyone wants a walking stick, I would recommend them.

They're good heavy sticks. In addition to help walking, they would make a good club for defending against two and four legged animals. They are good looking also. I know a bunch of the Old Farts on the board would enjoy them.

Nice Calvin. I just might have to have one of those.

I've never used a walking stick. Are they better than a cane on the street? The extent of my trail hiking is walking around my yard. I like the look and especially like the reach as a self defense tool. Looking foward to a report when you and Sharon get them.

I think the would look more intimidating than a cane on the street. They are better than a cane for hiking or walking though. For going to the store, or to a restaurant, the cane would be best. For walking around the yard, or taking a stroll down the street, the sticks would work good. They would also work good for someone like Kansas and I that have Cattle, for a Cattle prod. We got them yesterday, and can already tell that we will like them. They have some of the bark left on, kind of like deer antler grips. They are hand made and beautiful.
