Default How do you fish?

I like to fish out of my fishing tube. I have several, my favorite one is called a U-Tube 2000. There's just something special about battling a large mouth bass at eye level!

We use a 12 Sears alm. boat for most of the fishing in the AZ lakes. Lots of trout lakes in the AZ mountains. Like to fish Phoenix in Lake Pleasant for strippers and white bass and large mouth.

I usually fish from the Pond bank, but I have an aluminum boat at the pond, and sometimes I will tie up under a tree and fish from it. I usually fish with worms and a perch hook for lots of action, but sometimes catch a good channel cat or bass with it.

Chickahominy River/Reservoir and the James River. I use a 16' Aluminum V. The Chick has good bass, catfish, bream, crappie and some chain pickerel. The James has it all, including blue cats up to 75lbs. Of course, when I took my daughter to the James just knowing she would have a ball with cats from 2-10 lbs, there weren't none atall in the river that day.

Lived in Meechigan for 20 years and got to love the lake fishing up there.

I fish along the bank of the creek or backwaters. Have had real good luck with worms/bobber catching large mouth bass. Also like to fish for bullhead. The only bait I ever use is worms.

Carp are abundant, so usually a few of those get caught, too. It doesn't matter to me what I catch or if I catch anything at all. Just being outside along the water does the soul some good.

I like to bank fish on the columbia and the snake rivers. We catch bass, crappie, perch, chanel cat, bull heads and walleye. every now and then we'll go over to the coast and catch salmon and bottom fish but that wears me out. Bottom fish are my favorite. Catch you later.

This time of year, I like to slow roll a plastic worm. Drop that thing into a deep pocket in the middle of some dead moss or weeds, jiggle it up & down real slow & hang on! Those bass are mostly sleepin' right now, but they do get hungry!
If it's not too cold & windy over the weekend, I may go try to catch a few!

I have not fished in years. But when I did it was from a boat. Salt water fishing is much different from fresh water fishing. Can't see floating around the Great South Bay with all the boats. Sometimes there are as many boats as cars on the Long Island Exspressway.
