Old Cast Bullets
I have a couple of thousand lubed cast swc lubed bullets about 25 yrs old.
Question is the lube still functional? They look ok. |

They should be dowop. I'm shooting .45 Colts cast bullets from 30 years ago and they are working fine.

I don't see any problem. I have some that I bought new about 15 years ago, and some 2nd owner cast bullets that are older than that. I don't shoot them much, so I'm hoping that the shelf life is long. I also keep them in zip-lock baggies.

Reloaded & shot 50 yesterday.
Could have shot more if not for the weather. To cold & windy.Target was blowing around. Or maybe it was me... They worked. Thanks. |

They are 44 SWC 240 Gr.
Kinda heavy to ship. Have over 2500 last accurate count. Guess I will just have to reload more ( |

Get after it dowop! I'm trying to get ahead of the 9mm's. They are a lot easier to shoot in big quantities than the .44's, but I hate loading them. There seems to be a lot of variation in 9mm brass from brand to brand and the cases are small enough to make them a pain. 9mm is the only thing I reload that gives me problems.
