Default Tight Fishing Line

Before I go fishing, I charge the trolling motor and bump the starter battery to make sure it's charged. Except last night. This morning I got to the launch and my starter motor was totally dead. I borrowed a jump starter. The battery was so dead the outboard didn't run too well. After an hour, I decided that it was a bad day and I should go home. Then I had the first bite. Tennis elbow in both elbows, lousy running motor, and all that stuff went overboard. Hung around for another 4 hours and played with bass, bowfin and other scaly things. It's amazing what a tight line will do.

Yeah, it's funny how a tight line can get a persons attention real fast. Ain't it, greener?

Especially if that line is around your neck.

Sure gets your attention.

As far as the one around my neck, I've learned to fight the leash maw has.

We're lookin' forward to gettin' out. If the rain keeps up maybe three more weeks we'll be able to get "stump jumper" out. This is a great bass fishin' lake. About a mile long and 1/2 mile wide. Just fishin' from the dock I was catchin' lots of bank runners up to 2 1/2- 3 lbs. I couldn't cast far enough from my dock to hit water now. I've been mowing the lake bottom and the grass is really beautiful.

Every thing dried up here. Haven't hear anyone catching any.

Sorry I haven't been around. Going to change that.

The lake I live on is still too low for me to use the boat. Too hot anyway!

The important thing is that you are here now, and I know you will make a big contribution to the Board, like the others have, just by being here, and enjoying our Friendship.
