We could have chickens but I'm not sure about livestock. We had chickens over 30 years ago and wouldn't want to have them again. Eggs are cheap and boneless, skinless breasts are reasonable too.

Aw, come on Vetter... having some chores to do would be good for you.

I have a fence around my yard in Town. I think having dogs in the yard have prevented me from having a break in, or home invasion. My water heater went out, and my cutoffs in the yard, to the house was froze up, so I had to have the City workers to come and turn off the water on the street. The meter was about 3 feet from my fence. The City worker, that turned the water, off got too close to the fence, and one of the dogs grabbed his shirt sleeve, through the fence. He said them dogs will bite, and I said that is what they are trained to do. I'm sure he will tell people, that the "beware, biting dogs" signs, are not just a hoax.

I think it's more a case of spreading authority. Rule every aspect of your life.

Just with fuel costs to go 15 miles round trip to the grocery, we try to plan ahead as much as we can. Even at $2.19/dz egs get expensive. I'd just like to put a bit more of my life in MY control instead of governments.
