Thumbs up New Colt plant in Florida!

Colt has announced they are opening a second plant about an hour south of here in Kissimmee Fl. It's 16,000sq. ft. to add to it's 100,000 sq. ft. main plant and will employ 63 local people. Colt will join KelTec, Diamondback, Heritage Mgf. and Taurus (now manufacturing some model's here in Miami) as Born in Florida, USA handguns! I wonder if I'll be able to dumpster dive?

That's good news Vetter. I don't own a Colt, but if it wasn't for Ruger, I probably would. They both make the kind of guns I like.

Tomorrow I will receive my (made by Ruger) 25 round - 1022 clip. I am glad that Ruger finally made one. Lots of good reports from everyone that bought one. Now I can throw the hot lips jamer away!! Keep up the good work Ruger.

Thumbs up

Our State legislators have put a Bill on the Governor's desk allowing Military, active, reserve and veterans under the age of 21 to obtain a carry permit.

Add Para USA to that list.

I'm proud of Kansas because we, as a state, did NOT vote for Obama!

Well our governor Bev Perdue isn't running for reelection. That pleases me no end. She has most unfavorable poll numbers (we don't like her) & there are these criminal charges for some of her staff.

I voted for the other candidate (Republican) for governor last time & it looks like he may make it this time.

An unusual situation I don't quite get. Perdue surprised everyone by saying she wasn't running & the Dems don't have a ready candidate. NC has the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte this year which, with luck, will be a hoot. And BHO needs NC bad.

Interesting times we live in.

We got the open carry bill back through the House, and on the way to the Senate. The Governor has already said she would sign it, if it gets to her. It passed the House and Senate before, but the Governor, that we had then it.
