Winter grilling
The young couple next door must have had enough of old man winter this weekend. I was out walking my dog, bundled up against the cold, and the nicest smell hit me,-----Grilled steaks! They had their grill fired up and steaks sizzling. I intentionally lingered around the yard for awhile, just to enjoy the smell.
Do any of you grill in the winter? And you guys in warm climates don't count, I'm talking about grilling when there's a chance it could snow on your food. |

I haven't, but when I go to Camp on the Ranch this Spring, I will. It wouldn't be a bad idea in the Winter. If I had my grill in town I'd try it. My neighbor likes to grill and has his grill on the front porch. He grills in the Winter. Bet it would taste just as good in the Winter as Summer.

I grill in the winter. Pre-soak som beans, throw a whole ham on in the smoker morning, keep the fire box hot, & by evening, your ready to sit down to some really good ham & beans. A winter grilled steak is extra good! The hot grill is helps keep the cook warm, & the cold air keeps his......."beverage" cool.

We grill all Winter long Calvin. I open the garage door, light the grill and pull it over next to the open doorway. We do steaks, smoked pork chops, ribs and chicken. Umm Umm Good!

We grill all winter. The only limiter is stong wind. Unfortunately, that happens too often. Winds coning across the lake or down the side with no obstructions to slow them down are tough to cope with.
