Default A few hours in the boat, no water under it

Peaked under the cover and sure enough there was still a boat under it. Decided to do some spring fixing after putting in a new trolling motor battery a couple weeks ago. I needed a new rocker switch for the live well and that turned out to be quite a chore. I couldn't find a marine switch in Richmond and ended up buying a new panel and removing a soldered switch. Of course my old soldering iron didn't work and I ended up getting a new one. Then none of the switches worked but all other electrical worked. Loads of fun finding the buss fuse I didn't know about. Other than air and grease for the trailer, the boat is ready to go and I'm getting the itch.

I hear the crappie are hitting pretty good, so it is about time to see if the trailer wheels turn, the boat floats and I can remember how to cast.

I'm like you Guys. I bought some new ultra lite tackle and can hardly wait to try it out. Won't be long now.

A coworker is a tournament bass fisher. Showed me pictures today of some pre-fishing his father did at a lake north of Richmond. 8.5 lb bass and 13+ pound bass. He also got a 9 pounder in the Chickahominy River east of Richmond. All in the past few days. Getting the itch real bad. Most of the big fish go into a pond in their yard, along with huge bream. I have a standing invitation for some catch and release. An ultralight would be a dream day if I could find the time.
