3 of my maters are getting pink - Looks like I might have some to eat after all!

Yes sir, they are. With my luck, just before they are ready to pick, they'll be attacked by killer tomato worms!

We planted tomatoes in pots and 3 Topsy turvey's. Have had several already from both and they seem to taste the same. Have a bunch of cherry tomatoes getting close in the upside down planters. We also planted some red peppers and a bunch of peas, which have already been eaten and some cucumbers that are getting nice. This next year we will plant a bigger garden, that is if I am still around to make this happen. The peas were just awesome. Even the dog loved them.

My 'maters are tasting pretty good, but I don't think I'm going to have a lot of them. I think we have eaten 2 so far, have 2 on the counter waiting to be eaten and about 4 that can be picked today. That only leaves 3 on the vines, not counting 1 little tiny new one. There are some old blooms, but I'm not sure they are going to turn into tomatoes. My vines aren't looking too whippy - leaves are starting to turn yellow and I water them every day. What's up with that?

I don't think so - I'm watering their butt, not their head.
The leaves still look crappy, but I found 3 more teeny, tiny new ones coming on. Guess I'll have a few more before the first frost.

Mine is turning red and they are beefsteak variety and about the size of a quarter. I haven't watered them and they are on a hill. Working on a good garden spot for next year. This year I just planted some stuff on the hill where we have the trailer.

Not as good as I hoped, but not bad. We had a bunch of them set on, ripen and then nothing for a while. The plants look like crap, but I've suddenly got 10 more new ones coming on. Hope they make it.
