I had to "edit" and add...I also got another flag at the same time and it too is "Made in the USA". The pole and mounting bracket are "Made in China" but the 3X5 flag itself is completly made in South Carolina. I wonder if Lowe's makes an effort to buy American? Close your eyes and imagine this, two items, both made in the USA on one reciept!
Update: The flag still flies daily, colors still brite! Shop Vac burned up after about the third use. Bought it at Lowe's 6/1/2011 and they replaced it, no questions asked.

I know I'm a little weird, but I won't fly a Flag, made in China, even if they are cheaper than the ones made in America. I am using a Computer, that most of the parts were made China, but I prefer to buy American made Stuff, when I can.

The flag was made in South Carolina but the pole, eagle top and mounting bracket were all made in China. The bracket lasted about a week.

They make great stuff, huh Vetter. Not everything made in the USA is great, but I'll still buy it over that Chinese

I figured out what they're doing. They make everything that Ikea don't. They, like Ikea ship it here and we assenble it for them. They got the idea from Ikea but their plan is when they bankrupt us they will have all their stuff here put together and ready for them.

This Christmas I'm more aware of made in America, than usual. I want all my money that I spend to stay in America. I just received my Milt Sparks OWB 55
BNH Holster, and love it. Made in America out of American Horsehide.

About a dozen or more of us have Breakfast, at Karen's Country Kitchen (which is the only Cafe in Panama, OK) every Saturday Morning. After open carry took effect, my neighbor came over to my table and was talking to me while the Waitress was taking our order. I ask him if he had seen anyone open carrying and he said only one. The Waitress said "you mean people carry guns!". He lifted his shirt and said I do. Sharon said he does, and pointed at me, so I lifted my shirt. There were about a half dozen others did the same thing. The waitress said: "Oh! my God, I didn't know everybody in here were carrying guns". I told her we all had been carrying them there every time we ate, since the Cafe had been open. Since then she hasn't paid any attention to us carrying. I think there is kind of a knee jerk reaction the first time, someone sees anyone that is not a LE carrying, but they get used to it.

The Open Carry has caused me to change my shopping habits. I will not patronize any place that has up no gun signs. I had to find a new gas station and drug store to shop at, but they were here, and their Business has increased.
