Mountain Oysters
I gotta' work some calves in a couple of weeks. I usually soak the oysters in salt water for a few hours, Then roll them in flour, milk & eggs with some pepper thrown in for good measure, then deep fat fry them to a golden brown. Baked potatoes & baked beans roun out the meal. How do you all do it?

I cook em' up about the same as you do Kansas. Then I enjoy the baked potato and beans and toss the testicles. Kansas, you scare me sometimes.

When I cut them out I just pitch them in the coals where the Branding Irons are heating and after a while fish them out and eat them. I didn't know there was any other way.

One of our local churches has an annual calf fry. That's the most people they get to come all year. Wonder when it's coming up?

I used to hang at the Eagles club in Junction City. They used to have one night a month when they had mountain oysters and showed movies of "questionable" content. Haven't had any oysters in years.
