Thumbs down More US weapons to Isis...

BEIRUT (AP) -- Islamic State group fighters seized at least one cache of weapons airdropped by U.S.-led coalition forces that were meant to supply Kurdish militiamen battling the extremist group in a border town, activists said Tuesday.
The cache of weapons included hand grenades, ammunition and rocket-propelled grenade launchers, according to a video uploaded by a media group loyal to the Islamic State group.
The video appeared authentic and corresponded to The Associated Press' reporting of the event. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which bases its information on a network of activists on the ground, said the militants had seized at least one cache.

Drop more bombs!

Everytime we send troops all that happens is our troops die. Send the drones, bomb the livin' crap outta them. Their civilians know who they are and allow them to live among them for protection from our bombs. Even hiding in their Mosques. If they are protecting these animals they are also enemies, bomb them. I agree, no PC, but please, no American troops. Let them guard our borders, nuke plants and our civilians. We have the big sticks, lets use them and beat em' down once and for all. They opened the can of worms, we're just being made fools of. We don't need help, we took care of that when we let Obama stay in office....Off rant!

Gotta have some troops to direct the aircraft. Also, no rules of engagement this time. Just jump in and put a John Wayne ass kickin on those a** holes!

Thumbs up America?s ?Mini Air Force?...

America currently has a big lead in the number and sophistication of drones, and the sensors and weapons they carry. An estimated 7,000 drones are in service.
But it obscured an even more significant development: U.S. deployment of a mini-air force of long-range, remotely-piloted aircraft from a network of airfields in the Seychelles, the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.
Use of the civilian airport in Victoria by several U.S. Reaper drones underscores a development that is changing the nature of military and intelligence operations in many Asia-Pacific countries as well as the West. Reapers can fly nearly 1,850 km from base, conduct their mission and return home. If armed, they can unleash Hellfire missiles as well as guided 227-kg bombs?

Increasing reliance on drones indicates that the future of airpower is likely to be largely unmanned, as governments seek to reduce combat casualties and remove as many of their expensive manned warships and aircraft as possible from hostile range.
Good old Napalm, worked in Viet Nam.
