Once in awhile, I get lucky.

Thumbs up

I'm thinking 357 Mag for my Marlin 1894. I'm thinking 180gn bullet on top of H110 or WW296.

And maybe some 44 Spl for the Ruger Super Blackhawks/Marlin 1894.

This one won't knock down any big bucks or brown bears, but is a fun reload for the .357 carbine:

.357 Mag Brass
SP Primers
125 gr Cast FP bullets
5.3 gr W231/HP38
Velocity 1170 fps in 20" barrel

I use this in my Rossi 92 lever action for Cowboy Silhouette Matches. Very little recoil, accurate and cheap to load.

Thanks for the recipe rman. Have you shot them thru a revolver?

Yup! I chronographed them in my 3" Model 60 S&W.

10 Rounds
High 870
Low 786
Extreme Spread 84
Average 824.1
Standard Deviation 26

In the 20" Rossi 92

20 Rounds
High 1209
Low 1151
Extreme Spread 58
Average 1174.7
Standard Deviation 15.6

I didn't try shooting for groups in the revolver. You'll notice that the extreme spread and standard deviation are higher in the revolver. That's not a sure fire indicator, but I'd guess accuracy is adequate, but not target quality.
