CFL's last us about 3 1/2 years...
They say those CFL's last about 7 years. I changed every bulb when we moved here, about 3 1/2 years ago. In the last couple months about 6-8 have blown. They're Phillips from Walmart.

I was going to say I too have had bad luck with Phillips but then none of the other brands seem to last very long either.
So it's a never mind, I'm just babbling.

I don't like CFLs. I'm slowly replacing them with LEDs. The jury is still out on them. Half the lights are on dimmer switches and even though the LEDs are supposed to be dimmer compatible, some of them flicker when you turn them down low. It's pretty annoying.
