Default Tale of 2 1911's

I made it to the range yesterday morning. I shot the Commander and my trusty ole Colt Gold Cup. I sure do like shooting that gun. It has always been a "if I can see it, I can hit it" gun for me. Its had a lot of rounds put thru it and I've rebuild it once. Its like a good wine, just gets better with age. I shot a few rounds from 50 yards with the Commander. I need to work on that. But then again, I don't know why I'd be shooting a 45 from 50 yards to begin with. Then I worked on some draw, fire, move drills.

I picked up this Ruger 10-22 a couple of weeks ago. I had the stock laying around, so I turned it into an evil black full semi-auto assault AR 10-22. One of the local gun shops has a couple of 25 round mags for it, and I imagine I'll pick those up. Those little rifles are just plain fun to play with.

Shoot straight

OMG! I didn't realize you were a domestic terrorist. Good line Teddy.

Looks like all of them shoot well, but especially the Gold Cup. Good shooting!
