I don't have a link but I was hearing about a new ban on steel cased ammo from Russia. Since they are the biggest source of steel ammo, that pretty much shuts it out of the U.S. market. This is supposed to be part of the economic sanctions imposed because of the poisoning and attempted murder of an opposition leader to Putin's rule.
I never buy steel case anyway but I know people who do, especially AK, AR, and milsurp pistol shooters. Brass alternatives will be alot higher for some of them.

Panther I think that is more of an excuse than a sanction deal. Bidem is always looking for ways to make shooting more difficult and expensive.
