Range Report with GP100 and Tasco ProPoint
All shots taken were single action just like they would be if, I were handgun hunting in the woods. The jury is still out if I really like a red dot or not... even though I could see the red dot, it lacks magnification like a scope does.
The first target was at 21' using the Tasco ProPoint mounted on my Ruger GP100, with .38 Special loaded with WW 231 and the 124-gr FMJ Montana Gold Bullets. Next we have same distance using .357 Magnum with WW 231 and a 158-gr Speer JSP bullet All in all I had a good time, just not more ammo for today. I got my buck

Good shooting. Those are classy looking revolvers.

Love thee GP100!! My first GP100 was identical (should not have sold it). I had a scope on my Rossi Cyclops. Eventually took it off. I enjoyed shooting open sights much more!
