2 drivers have killed two Bucks with 2014 Freghtliner Cascadias in the last day and a half. The truck are in my shop waiting for parts. That's the way to hunt deer, warm and cozy with the stero blaring out Willie Nelson tunes!

Thats cool that your Grandson got one with his bow, Vetter!
Do you have to use shotguns, or can you hunt with a rifle over there Teddy?
Good luck, and get a big one for the stew pot.

I did a little scouting this afternoon and found this rub about 20 yards from my stand, and a second one about 35 yards away. The are as fresh as the can be. Didn't find any scrapes yet, so I think the rut is just getting started around here. I wont do any further scouting so I wont disturb the area. I report to deer camp next Thursday.

Shotguns 20 thru 10 ga, muzzle loading rifles 45 cal and above, and handguns, revolvers-no semi auto's, 30 cal and above with straight wall cartridge cases-no bottle necks.

That's interesting. No bottle neck ammo. Why is that? Do you know the reason?

That rub is on a pretty good sized sapling - a good sign. The rut is in full swing around here - lot's of road kills right now. Your state has some strange firearms requirements Teddy.

Deer season was a bust. Never saw the first deer.

Like the Chicago Cubs fans say, theres always next year.
