What's up with this thread? Has nobody made a boo-boo since January 4th?

Why should such a perfect group make errors?

That might be the way everyone is, and the reason for no more replies.

My name is Vetter and I made a boo boo. OK, I boo boo'ed and now I have boo boo's. Yesterday I put my 4 hinge handy dandy 14' ladder up so I could replace an end shingle that has been missing for years. Never leaked so y'all know I don't fix what ain't broken. Sunday inspection on the house and I figured I best fix it. The ladder is very heavy aluminum but the hinges are steel. Very rusty steel. Yesterday, I got about 5 steps up and decided I ain't doing this. Today I guess I thought it wasn't so bad. Got about 6' up and SNAP! Clunked my noggin' on the ground, cut on my hip and everything hurts. Whiplash! Guess I'm lucky I didn't break something.

Ladders ain't for old people whether good or bad. When you get old you can stand on the ground and fall and break something. Ask me how I know?

You are sooo right. The worse of it, I got out another ladder and got up on the roof and there isn't even a shingle missing. My neighbor found a shingle after a storm and checked his roof and looked at mine. He thought he saw a missing shingle on mine. I'm hurting today.
