Default New Years Resolution

This year I am reducing my acidic intake hopfully enough to maintain a alkaline P.H. of 6.3 (saliva) (p.h. strips at health store)
With my busy lifestyle I am trying a years supply of a green powder to get the nutrition of vegetables, ect. I will need.
I quit coffee, black tea, alcohol, pop, lowered sugar intake. drinking 3/4 gallon of water a day.
I googled acid/alkaline food chart and found a lot of good info. I would recommend it to all of us elder's.
It is said that cancer cannot survive in alkaline cells.
I allready feel a lot better and shed 20 pounds without even trying.
I do drink a lot of green tea. cranberry juice mixed with water to make it go further, lemon juice in water also breaks up the regular water routine, and is alkaline in the body.
2000 mg. of vit.D, 1000 mg. vit.C, multi vit. (over 50) 81mg. low strenth aspirin, 1000 mg. niacin. Check with your Dr. on any of these suggestions to be safe.
Stay safe and Heathy!!

Thanks for the Post, Doug. Us Old Farts need all the help we can get. I had a Vit. D deficiency and had to start taking it. We don't get the nutrients we need from our foods.

I'm going to have to try that. I think it would help me.

I went to the Doctor a while back for my annual checkup, and he told me to "keep doing what you've been doing". I'm sure glad he didn't ask what I'd been doing.
