I suppose I could smother the fire with a few stiff drinks.
Thanks for the advise rman. Cigarettes make me cough anyway.

Good luck Kansas. I also just quit smoking cigars and it's been about 2 weeks. If you can do it I can do it Sure could use a nice cigar right now but can't give in. Man I don't drink don't chew anymore and now no cigars. Life seems to be getting duller as I get older Maybe it just doesn't take much to amuse me anymore....ya think????

I've got my vices down to one now. "CHASING WOMEN" . Granny tells me I'll stop that one, when one catches me.

I'm very grateful that is one habit that never got hold of me. My wife has been smoking for the last few years, after quitting for decades. She is trying to quit again, but it is really hard for her.
Best of luck to you all as you try to quit.

How you doin on this project Chortdraw? It's been 4 months and 4 days for me and I still want one! I think Kansas is out of the woods on this one - he's had so much rain down there it's probably extinguished the fire by now!

I quit in 1980 after my Dad told me he had lung cancer. Stayed off them for 10 years and started again. Smoked about a year and quit January 16th, 1991, first Desert Storm action and have been off them since.
