Default The global economy

We had time between a couple Dr visits last week and stopped at a Chevy dealer, just to browse.
Everytime I look at new cars, I look at the content line on the sticker to see where the engine and tranny came from. Sometimes it's hard to find a car with both made in the US.
We see lots of Canada, Mexico, Japan. I've seen China, France, Germany, but this time I saw one with an engine made in Hungary. We looked at quite a few models but I think it was a Cruze. I'm sure they are all up to GM's standards, I wonder how many other countries supply the parts for our cars.

It's hard telling panther. I guess they are made where ever the company can have them made the cheapest.

Thumbs down

The window sticker on mine says "final assemble Ft. Lauderdale Fl." I asked then why was the shipping $995? He pretended not to hear. I figured they put the horn button on there.
