Default Another truck

I must be a lucky fella. Tristan and I headed for Calvin's place in Oklahoma Thursday. Just North of Tulsa, the transmission decided that it no longer wanted to shift to Drive. We ended up limping into Owasso in 3rd gear. I spotted a Chevy dealer and pulled in there to see if I could get them to take a look at it. I explained to the shop foreman what the tranny was doing. He said it would probably need rebuilding and they were so busy that it would be 3 days before they could get at it. I'm pretty sure he was right about the rebuilding. I checked the fluid in it before I left and it was fine and it hasn't been leaking. It's been slipping a bit on tough pulls and every once in awhile it shifted hard. I was kind of in a bind and decided to look on their used car lot. I ended up trading for a 2009 Chevy Silverado extended cab. All things considered, they gave me a decent deal. It's a pretty nice truck - nothing fancy, but it ought to keep me mobile for awhile. The down side is that the other one was paid for. (and got better gas mileage)

You got a real nice truck. I got another little Red Ranger. Its 6 years newer than the one I already had. I'll have a Farm Ranger, and a City Ranger now.

From what I saw of it, that looked like a slick little Ranger Calvin. With 2 of them, you have a built-in auto parts store.

With them quitting making them, that's what I thought, also.

Went to the tag Office and got a title and tag for my Ranger today. Rman, does Kansas have tags like this in their tag office? The Girls in the tag office said that was just the tag I need.
